   This unique area offers something for everyone, including snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, kayaking, jungle tours, bird watching, and shopping, all within an authentic Mexican setting containing countless sites of natural beauty.  The neighboring towns of San Patricio Melaque and Barra de Navidad are delightful to explore.  They are typical of coastal towns with their markets, largely unpaved streets, small stores and thatched beachfront seafood restaurants.  The "jardin," with its charming, provincial ambience, is a popular evening gathering spot for locals and tourists alike.  The locals are friendly, the climate is superb (80 degrees average), and the dress is casual.
